Introduction to Digital Imaging - Photoshop with Roger DuBois
For high school and adult students
Wednesday, 6:30 – 8:30PM
September 12, 19, 26 and October 3, 10 & 17
The next step in digital photography is creating dynamic images from your camera/scanner files through the use of programs like Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Photoshop Elements or other such computer programs. This is the “Digital Darkroom”. Roger tailors this class to the needs and skill levels of each student, beginner or advanced. He covers the basics, the use of tools and advanced techniques including; cropping, re-sizing, color corrections, sharpening / blurring, local corrections, layers (that’s the scary one for most), masking, combining photos, borders, type, leveling that crooked horizon, removing unwanted items, combining photos (like adding someone to a photo), well, on and on you get the idea. Best of all, Roger works at your pace.
You will need to bring your own laptop (and mouse) with the program installed to get the most from this class. It is OK to sign up with a friend and you both share a computer.
