For students ages 8 - 14

$150+ $15 Lab Fee for each week-long session

Monday – Friday, June 28 – July 2, 2021, 9am – 12pm


This class will allow students to explore a variety of art techniques and media in the presence of the rescued animals who call River’s Wish home.

Students will also spend time in the garden at River’s Wish, learning about plants through observational drawings and scientific illustration.

Our Sanctuary Based Education provides a peaceful setting for creating, reflecting and connecting with the residents of River’s Wish while fostering compassion and empathy.


Closed toe shoes are required for all classes at River’s Wish Animal Sanctuary

While we hope that all restrictions will be lifted at the time of this class, River's Wish Animal Sanctuary wishes to keep everyone safe and will follow all Covid regulations. Including wearing a mask and social distancing. Being fully vaccinated before the start of class the is also encouraged.

*Pre-registration is required for Art School classes; classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be registered ONLY on receipt of payment. Enrollment requirements: 3 students minimum, 12 students maximum (in most cases). Classes with low enrollment are cancelled 48 hours before the class is scheduled to begin.


Refunds and Cancellation Policies: If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued. Otherwise, no refunds will be issued.
